How We Started
It all started during Dr. Liz Knies M.D.’s residency, when the harsh Colorado climate and stress of medical school culminated and took a toll on her skin. Wanting to improve her confidence and not feel the need to wear makeup, she discovered her passion for medical aesthetics. In 2013 she became fully trained in aesthetics and later trained and tested at the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine . She soon met Chandler, R.N.—they actually had on of their first dates during a Botox training session.
Years later, Dr. Liz Knies M.D. and Chandler decided to open their own practice in a small 8×12 room that would be open two days a month providing premium medical aesthetics in Cañon City, near Dr. Liz Knies M.D.’s hometown of Wetmore. Their business was called Rose Injectables, named after Dr. Liz Knies M.D.’s grandmother, Rose 🌹, which is also the middle name for all their daughters.
However, Rose Injectables did not go without challenges. Dr. Liz Knies and Chandler opened their business in January of 2020, but they had to temporarily close during COVID. Not only that, but their 9-month-old daughter was diagnosed with aggressive cancer and had to be flown across the country for treatment at St. Jude Children’s Cancer Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
Little did they know, their community was there to support them. #socksforcapri was started to show support and bring luck to the family. “You cannot have a bad day if you are wearing new sock.” is Chandler’s motto. City council and community members donned new socks, donated time and funds to help keep the Knies business afloat, and even the Mayor of Cañon City would babysit the Knies children while Dr. Knies worked into the evenings to keep business going.
Thankfully, little Capri became cancer-free, and Dr. Knies and Chandler were able to move their business from the small 8×12 room to a beautiful storefront. They couldn’t be more overjoyed at the support shown to them, and they always want to give back as much as they can.
They are looking forward to expanding their reach as they expand to a second location in Colorado Springs.

About Rose Injectables
Dr. Liz Rose Knies, M.D. understands why clients would be looking for aesthetic treatments, as she suffered from acne, scarring, dull skin and large pores. Her concerns did not stop there. After having children, she noticed changes to her pelvic floor muscles and what she calls “bathroom vigilance” or the need to wear a liner daily from unexpected leaks and skin laxity across her body + a double chin that was always present. Experiencing lots of issues with her skin, body and weight fluctiations and not finding any place in the medical field where her issues were able to be treated, she pursued women’s health aesthetics over a decade ago with a goal- address women’s health issues as they are aging. Her husband, Chandler, R.N., shares her dream of creating a space for women’s health and wellness as he has seen the disparities women face including his sisters, wife, mother and daughters.
After years of expanding our niche boutique practice and training over 7,000 medical providers to advance care for women, We are SO EXCITED to announce our expansion and opening of our 2nd location- now in Colorado Springs!

While we’re known for providing superior service with a physician-led team in women’s health and medical aesthetics in Cañon City and Colorado Springs, we’re also proud to welcome clients from around the region. We care for patients in OVER 15 states and 3 countries. Locally, we serve individuals daily from Monument, Penrose, Florence, Lincoln Park, Castle Rock, Brookside, Pueblo, Denver, and beyond. Our Cañon City clinic is located about 1 hour south of Colorado Springs and under 1 hour west of Pueblo.
Don’t live in Colorado? No problem! Many of our clients travel from other states (15+)—and even from other countries (more than 3)—to receive treatment.

Our team are experienced medical providers, including an on-site physician, a registered nurse, medical assistants, and aestheticians who not only have been where you’ve been, but who love what they do. Our team is so excited to see client success, because when clients succeed, we succeed in our goal of providing real and lasting results.
What to Expect
When you walk into our building, you can expect to be greeted by our welcoming reception staff. We are not about office gatekeepers. We want you to feel connected to the team. You could get the chance to see Dr. Knies or Chandler helping out at reception or in the lobby in between appointments, or you’ll see them chatting with returning clients they haven’t seen in a while.
Our lobby has an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere, featuring two waterfalls, refreshments, and beautiful decor. For your appointment, you can expect our team to fully explain the treatment processes for our medical aesthetics in Cañon City and Colorado Springs, and answer any questions you may have.
